Bedwetting (Nocturnal Enuresis)
Bedwetting can affect both adults and children. Bedwetting is common in children and it is not usually considered a problem under the age of 5.

Nocturnal Enuresis is more commonly called bedwetting, which occurs during the night and is most common in males. Diurnal Enuresis is where wetting occurs during the daytime and is most common in females. Bedwetting can cause unhappiness, distress and embarrassment in both children and adults. Further distress can be caused if parents or a guardian blame or punish the child/person, which in turn can cause more bedwetting due to the stress.
Studies have shown a potential genetic link to bedwetting and psychological factors have also been shown to contribute to the problem including: Rigid toilet training, indifferent or negative parental attitude and stressful anxiety provoking events in a child’s life.
I will work with you (if you suffer from bedwetting) or your child, identifying the root cause, we can treat this together, utilising hypnotherapy, reprogramming your mind, changing old habits into new positive behaviours.
Instilling relaxation, breathing techniques, visualisations, positive direct suggestions alongside self-hypnosis will see positive change. Please ensure you contact your GP, as there may be medical factors that may contribute to the condition.
